Week 03

We spent this week intensely working on our project documentation. We also came up with a name for the film: Aether.

The term Aether is a reference to an ancient deity in Greek mythology. Aether was the embodiment of the sky and the heavens, capable of controlling air and space.

In this film, the characters refer to the black liquid rain as Aether, since it falls from an unknown source in the sky. We felt this word was a suitable title for the film, since it carries an underlying meaning.

Our demo script is complete, and our storyboards all rendered using a 3D application. Our documentation has reached 40 pages; proof that the project we are undertaking is rather epic in scope.

We've also scouted around for filming locations, and found a few very nice places. And our main cast is set, so things are really taking shape.
